He is survived by his wife, Kathy (Chesser) Pitts; his sons, Steve Pitts (Penny); Rodney Pitts (LouAnn); Bobby Pitts (Diana); his daughters, Sandy Avants (Allan Graham); Carla Tumbleson; Deanna Lovell (Don); Misty Krigbaum (Shannon); his brothers, Lloyd Pitts (Rhonda); Randy Pitts (Betty); Neil David Pitts; his sister, Diane Kimbrel; his sisters-in-law, Melba Pitts and Joy Chesser; his 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
